Pride Weekend: Pride Liturgy
Our Pride Liturgy will be at 3:00 pm on Saturday, June 27 ,(note this “new” time, which began last year). Our Pride homilist will be Sam Albano, DignityUSA Secretary and hails from Indiana. We need additional readers, as well as a few people to help set up and clean up the light meal afterward. For the liturgy, please contact Lewis; for the meal, please contact Robert Brande. You can also email dignitynewyork@gmail.com and indicate whether you’re volunteering as a reader or for hospitality. We will distribute Pride t-shirts after the liturgy to those participating in the witness and march.
Pride Weekend: Witness at St. Patrick’s
On Pride Sunday, we will stand in witness at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, joining others in prayerful, joyful presence. Your visible support matters—please consider being part of this public witness. We plan to do our witness at 11:15 AM - 11:45 AM. For more details, see Lewis or text him (xxx) xxx-5014. If you tell Lewis you are going and give your cell number, he will text if anything changes
Pride Weekend: Pride March
For the Pride March on Sunday, June 28, we gather at the North West corner of West 28th and 6th Avenue between 3:45 PM and 4 PM. If you arrive later, you will need to text Tom McLoughlin (xxx) xxx-2879, do not call - no one will hear it ring; he will get someone who has been wrist-banded to bring you a wristband.
